This was a piece of art done for an adoptable that I work for on PonyIsland.net called The Canids.

This particular breed of canid is known as a Spectre, they are a ethereal, water based breed with long flowing manes and tails that also have a magical cloth that wraps around them. The birthday celebration for The Canids is in the month of March, and the theme is astral/celestial. This was randomly suggested by the owner as a possible idea for one of the Custom Posed prizes, and I made it a reality. ^^ It was an incredibly fun experiment to work on, I've drawn many Custom Posed Canids before but never a Spectre, so it was a blast.
