This... okay, guys. Pictures like this are the reason I do babyfur art: because I get the opportunity to do drawings like this. This is a commissioned work for  snuggems, and I was super psyched about the idea he gave me: what if we see Shawn (his character) playing with airplanes while imagining himself as a great hero of the skies? I fell in love with the concept and just... the idea of the power of imagination - seeing playtime through the eyes of a child.

Even though this was a commissioned piece, I think I poured a lot of heart and soul into this work because the idea of it just spoke to me so strongly.

(The aircraft, by the way, is based on a Curtiss JN-4, first produced in 1917 and popular with both the US military and barnstormers, for you history buffs.)
