Dunno if this is an actual Goldsmith Beetle but its the closest thing that I could find in my book >.>; Anyway it was 'dead' when I pulled it out of the pool :( poor thing slipped in with a fluffy of other critters such as a masticated lizard *shudders* and a wasp that came to life only 14 mins after I pulled it out of the water and scared the crap out of me :P

I have a ton of interesting bugs around my house :P to bad we're getting rid of the pool :( Had a ton of dragon fly nymphs it was awsome! though the dragon fly's that came as a result of the nymphs metamorphosis were trapped under the pools cover :( I got a few of them free dunno what species they were though its been a while :P
Had a lot of those when i had to do emergency rescue to my pond in the yard. the liner broke and i had to rescue everything still alive that is in a quarter inch of warm water by the time i found them. Think i rescued like 20 dragonfly and damselfly larvae and a vew large water bugs in addition to the fish (thankfully they were small ones) and a million snails
