This is what I have been working on for the past while. Ren is the first in a series of bookmarks I'm doing up for my store/sell at cons/toss at strangers in the streets.

This really marks my first real attempt at doing some simple shading with a mouse. I admit, I can usually get away with the gradient fill but my copy of Fireworks seemed dead set against it. Any tips and tricks are greatly appreciated.
