I did this 'take' a few minutes ago.
I have the rough animation for all of my scenes just about roughed out. I was in a burnt out funk, and feeling pretty bad about it all, but I sat back, watched some clips of Glen Keane working, and got the fire again.
My other clips have been at 12fps, this one plays at 24fps. This feels a little but more fluid to me. More the kind of motion I *want* to bring to these characters.
I didn't stick to my time charts /exactly/ but.. eh *shrug*
I was rushing too much, I think. i feel better now!
WHAT COULD KOWL HAVE SEEN THAT HE CANNOT UNSEE?!
THE WORLD WILL NEVER KNOW
(until I finish it)
*edit*
AHAHAHA
I UPLOADED THE WRONG CLIP O_O
I WIN.
It's ok now :D

If you're doing animation that you need to be vector, there's a program called Toon Boom Studio that can save out SWF, or even import into flash. I find that program to be about 100 times better than flash for vector-based animation. You should at least give the demo a try.
