In order to explore the ocean depths in search of ancient undersea ruins or sunken ships, Crusader designed a specialized armor. While his normal armor is capable of going underwater, it can't withstand the intense pressures Crusader would have to travel to. Thus, this new armor is designed to withstand those pressures. Although, he wears his usual styled helmet, he also has a quartz visor/dome that provides a full oxygen environment. The dome, a transparent headpiece, is made from a new aligned-crystal technology.

In addition, the armor is equipped with special turbines to swim quickly underwater. The suit also includes searchlights, including the triangular one in the middle of the chest. The suit also comes with a special devices to help in case of decompression sickness, or the 'bends'. DCS isn't a good thing for someone who has asthma.

For offensive purposes, the Deep Sea Armor is equipped with his usual weaponry, like his wrist energy blasters, arm cannon, energy blade, and energy particle palm blasters. In place of the micro-missile launchers, Crusader has micro-homing torpedo launchers, capable of firing four torpedoes at once. Inspired by aquatic sea life, Crusader equipped this new armor with an octopus-inspired ink smokescreen and an electric eel-like shock field weaponry.

It does have jet boots, but they don't work underwater.
