very nice. scalemaille work can be quite tedious and time consuming. got cross straps to hold it?

Not quite yet, I'm still working on the second sleeve (that one took me over a month), so when I get the other one finished I will put some heavy elastic between them. They do stay up pretty well on their own though, I made them pretty snug.

if it's going to be for authentic show, I'd suggest some non elastic style straps, if it's going to be for fursuiting then by all means, go comfortable and get elastic.

I did scalemaille a looong time ago and part of the fursuit I'm going to be making for myself is going to be part scale as well (coated with microfleece)

if you ever want a real fun challenge: try a 16:2 with 1.25cm ID rings. super heavy but you'll feel like a tank wearing it I assure you.
