Incoming story bit...

Three hundred years ago, in the year 1563 CRH the most famous archeologist in all of Odellica; a Wolven named Heinrich Von Wolfgar along with his assistant Loudon and Loudon's mate Saskia, both Caprinians, chartered a ship to a forgotten island many hundreds of miles off the coast of Southern Emperia. Heinrich believed that on this island was a temple that housed Ohmeichron, Odellica's former God of War. Ohmeichron had been banished from Herlesium a millennia ago, never to return, for his attempts to goad the mortals into another world war. The chance to study a fallen god, what curious mind could resist such a proposition? Heinrich, Loudon, and Saskia were never heard from again. Many weeks later their ship was found adrift by a Foxin trading vessel. The only crew member left alive, the ship's boatswain, half dead from starvation, and half mad from fear told the traders a grim tale. Heinrich had indeed found Ohmeichron's eternal prison, and upon their entry into the temple atrium Saskia had been possessed by Ohmeichron and was forced to kill the entire party, including her beloved Loudon. The traders' notion that the boatswain had simply gone insane was, to their satisfaction, proved when they found him the next day, dead by his own hand...
