I didn't have the motivation to do a full blown image for this, so here is a cute doodle of Book to get your attention~

This is just a quick run down:

Because Ferdinand was so lonely and alienated from his classmates, he decided to experiment and see if he could give life to his only friend- a book. Thus, Book came to be. He and Book were together for two years before they were separated by the spellwork of a rampant rival sorcerer. Jealous of Ferdinand's talent, he used his magic to send Ferdinand to another dimension. Book got caught in the backlash and was sent to the same dimension, but ended up nowhere near Ferdinand. Lost and confused by our world, Book was taken in by Arthur (YES ARTHUR) until he was able to get his bearings and move out. After moving out, he eventually ended up taking in both Amets and Morpheus (my Dreamy and my Night Mare) and now the three of them live together, and Book happily works at a bookstore/cafe. Book and Ferdinand did end up reconnecting, but Ferdinand has a new lover now, and a life as a famous violinist. They are still very good friends and keep in constant contact.
