I'm officially naming this story Crush Groove. I don't have names for the main characters yet, so if you have a suggestion feel free to share it.

How guitar-weapons work is this:

Most everyone can hear sound and music. However, there are some who are able to see music with the aid of special glasses (spiny and panda's glasses/goggles). Those who do this can use some specialized magic without needing an instrument. those magics are called Vibes. however, with the aid of an instrument and a soundstone those vibes can be amplified and changed, leading to more complex spells.

example: Panda can use Gravity Vibe and manipulate gravity around him. with his axe, he can manipulate gravity to a greater degree, at long range, and in multiple areas at once. he can also cast some general spells with them.

Spiny has the Lunar Vibe. This allows him to use light to make illusions and weak lasers. with his scythe, he can shoot crecent waves and make solid illusions.

some instruments (usually percussion) emit their own vibes, and thus act as an enchanted item rather than an enhancing one like the two guitars.

Duets are entirely other matters, with power greater than their individual vibes added together. those will be explained later.
