It popped into my head to try and draw faces a bit more anthro like rather then my anime faces with animal noses slapped onto them.

So this was my attempt, Ame looks like a derp-face, but I do like how Ru turned out. Might try out this style of face shapes a bit more and see if I can get a feel for it. I want to be able to draw different face shapes for different characters to add more depth to my stories and comics.

I've tried drawing full-on anthro faces before like wolf snouts and tiger snouts, and I'm just no good. Realistic doesn't look very good with my cutesy style anime style, I've seen some people pull it off, but I'm not one of them.
