Something i started tinkering with over the weekend, quite happy with its appearance despite that the body seems to be a bit small for the feed ports. This is pretty much my trying to make a Heavy Machine gun in the configuration of a light machine gun for a large character of mine, and possibly for use by a friends race if they want. Pretty much a Browning M2 Maching Gun, tried to do a heavy barrel version but the barrels tip came out weird, probably going to have to keep playing with it until I get satisfying results.

From the point where the barrel meets the body (the white part) and the barrel ends that section is 1' 11" in length, was going to make it an even two foot but it all seemed like it'd be too long so i'll alter the barrels length later once i can manage to get it atleast 95% finish. Probably going to use the standard sights of a M2 for this.

This model holds a bit of importance for me. First, its the first HMG i've made in what feels like years, second, despite all my usual copy/paste habits I modeled the heatshield and stock from scratch and customized them to accomodate the widening of the barrel where it meets the body giving it a skinny to fat look. So far the only thing copy/pasted is the bullet, since i find it to be ridiculous to make a new one EACH and EVERY time.

Hopefully this will turn out to be something rather nice.
