Picked up this armor and the fursuit from FTM to add to this already stunning head from Guinn's. I had to hide my hands because I had no handpaws to go with this suit yet.

I know there's a trade-off between protection and moving, but this has too many failure points and exposes the back. Skip the fancy decorations. No swordsman is impressed. They'll laugh as they impale you. Or they'll cut rib-deep on those exposed parts as they go by and backhand the exposed half.
Perhaps this would be worn over mail and steel backplate? Dunno if Iron Badger's still doing re-enactments.

and it is comfortable, and I don't plan on wearing it into battle anytime soon. when I wore it without that fursuit (which the fursuit is extremely baggy on me) I left it loose as not to catch in the fur the fact that it can fit me with or without a fursuit underneath is a triumph.
I'm not offended, and hugs are in order. This armor is exactly how I wanted it: comfortable, adjustable, and looks the lart fir my characters in covering a majority of my body. I wanted something rustic and had a "hand-made" quality that looked barbarian without looking like it was slapped together. They did a remarkable job and I got so many people checking it out and complementing the armor. I will commission even more from the maker in the near future.
