Instructions: Heart Attack Pi.
So
came over and we make a pancreas-overloading confection in belated celebration of Pi Day.
In the event you folks would like to punish your bodies as well, instructions!
First, the mousse recipe: http://allrecipes.com/recipe/chocolate-mousse-3/
To fill a pi, you'll want to at least double all of the mousse ingredients. We did and it was the perfect amount. Make the mousse first, cover it, and leave it in the refridgerator.
Next, the brownie recipe: http://baking.about.com/od/brownies/r/ultimate.htm
This brownie recipe has withstood the test of time as the most absurdly delicious method of producing brownies known to human kind. My bff art school roommate
and I made these brownies dozens of times to great effect. For maximum mouth joy, use no other recipe. It must be this one.
Anyway, while cooking the brownies, pull them out early - at about 20-25 minutes depending on your oven - and spoon some of the still semi-molten brownie batter into your pi dish. Wash your hands and coat them with flour. Sculpt the brownie batter into pi crust. Put pi dish and the rest of the brownies back into the oven. Cook the crust for another 5 minutes, and the rest of the brownies for another 10 or so. Set them out to cool. To harden the brownie crust further, you may want to place it in the refrigerator as well for an hour or two. Once the brownie crust and mousse have sufficiently solidified, spoon the mousse into the crust. Garnish with whipped cream and frosting if desired - here the pi crosshatching is whipped cream and the pi symbol is chocolate cookie icing. Return completed pi to the refrigerator until you are ready to serve. Make sure you have an actual pie server utensil handy, or else you may wind up with a huge gooey mess when trying to divide it up at the end. (An absurdly delicious mess, but a mess none the less.) Serving with ice cream and adequate beverages to avoid overwhelming taste buds also recommended.
Happy Pi Day! <3
And this is the last dumb not-art thing I will post today, I promise, haha.
