Pithy is an adjective. It means 'using few words in a clever and effective way'. The language I'm using is English, not American. The word throughout is one word, not two. Are you literally using literally as an intensifier, or do you mean to make the baldly obvious statement that on some technical level I have to make an effort to tap keys in order to try and bash words into your thick skull?
You know if you were true to your heritage or anything to that matter you'd know it's all in good fun. It doesn't matter.
