This is a picture I've done for
styxandstoned's contest.

I chose Trivium -can't tear us apart as the song to base the sketch off of, though I no longer remember why...
I like how it turned out, I used Apophysis to generate the black fractal behind moop that was supposed to be some dark entity thing...
And this is kind of an experiment with colors and stuff, since I haven't done much digital art as of yet ^^;
Criticism is appreciated!

Thanks for the comment. I went through a bit of your gallery and saw your really good at anatomy, could you give me a few pointers on how to get the arms and legs right proportionally to the torso and head? I usually get those right then have to redraw the arms and legs several times to get it right.
A lot of it has just been guess work honestly, I've gotten it wrong at least twice as many times as I've gotten it right ^.^; I find the best overall idea (try not to laugh this off as absurd) is to thoroughly learn your stick figure measurements. Just keep practicing with circles representing the shoulders/elbows/hands and hips/knees/feet until you have the lengths down to where you're confident in their placement, then work out more details from there.
