I hate tennesee...OKK Went to the dentist today.
Paid for an exam to be done *xray, image of teeth and prodding around my mouth. They found things that the other dentist (prior to me turning 21) should have seen in THEIR xrays(the previous dentist did repair the infected tooth but failed to tel me of the others THEN HAD THE AUDACITY TO TELL ME I NEED TO COME BACK TO THEM WITH THEIR OUTRAGEOUS PRICES ME AS A COLLEGE STUDENT FULL TIME ; CANT PAY!. Cavities to not just pop into existence mind you. I get this sheet from them stating my charges and that 3 of the procedures are mandatory.
If I do not get those done and wait they will turn into RCT cases(root canals) sending me into a charge of almost 5050 dollars flat! WHAT? for 3 teeth are you effing kidding me!?
Anyway the image shown and circled by the dentist is my new charge(1359.75) and that has to be paid for in order to fix everything... yes that is significantly less but I need to get this fixed immediately. In order for me to pay this off I have to do 50 30 dollar commissions or 47 40 dollar art commissions. luckily I dont have to pay it all up front .
my 1st procedure( a Root canal) is coming in at about 746 dollars<--- the most expensive one
due around the 1st of april.
I need to have at least 20 commissions of 40 dollars. Full color/shading . Ill give examples
when/as requested . I have asked for help before yes , thinking that was all that had to be done...anyway I am willing to work for it... thats what i get for having a 2-9 class on weekdays. Hard to find decent jobs . Give me something to do on spring break people. donations are welcomed too so long as i can get closer to reaching this! Seeya fuzzbutts.

Belated reply (work at night, only have 'net at that time.. ugh): That is really shitty.. the sad reality is that it really does work, and they are only denying people the help that they need. Sigh.
I HIGHLY recommend discussing with them a plan, or a way to reduce the payment... they usually get these numbers from a magical system that shoots out a random number for procedures. Private practice or hospital? Well, regardless... challenge it but be courteous, as well.. they will always go far with that, too. You CAN reduce it if you try hard enough. It's worth it not to pay these bullshit prices for these things we could get in other countries for 0 to 10 bucks. -.-
