I've done a colour version of this that enhances the mouie's comic overuse of bright make-ups, but it hasn't been scanned. In the original there is no border. It was drawn on a xerox for use by a fanzine called... well... it doesn't matter what it was called, you'll never find a copy. When scanned the cover I removed the title but liked the decoratve border enough to leave it.

"you'll never find a copy"
That's the problem with fanzines, isn't it? Back in the old self-pub era (late 80s-mid 90s) I burned a lot of postage trying to get copies of zines from folks who had probably already gotten bored & out of the scene already. Did anyone here ever read Jeff Nicholson's "Small Press Tirade" (Feb '89 - good luck finding a copy now, I guess)? He pretty much covered some of the problems with fanzines that were already showing up then. What has all this to do with a mouse wearing lipstick?

Finding anything is a problem. Even the internet is mortal. Its true you can go to eFanzines (run by Bill Burns) and find a few hundred issues of dozens of fanzines posted, but it's far from comprehensive. And what if FurAffinity went down tonight, and never came back? Where would you find all that porn... I mean furry art?
