Ionia is a very clam and reserved eighteen year old girl, having just moved to a new city and an enrolled into a brand new school for her last year before college. She wasn't that good at talking to people, feeling shy and often worried about what to say. She preferred being a loner, quietly reading her books in the shade during lunch or break between classes. And though she was new to this school she managed to hide herself away to read her many, many tales and stories about adventures. She often wished she could have her own adventure, despite her quiet life.

This became reality when a something or someone created a digital viruses that could infect people, unleashing it in the school accidentally. It sought out the strongest negative emotion it could find, clinging to the victim of the school's biggest bully and changed him into a giant monster letting him seek revenge against said bully. It didn't help matters when the virus infected the bully as well and soon two monsters were tearing through the school. With lives in danger, Ionia wanted to do anything to help stop this. Finding a small piece of the virus left over from the raging destruction, she willingly let it infect herself hoping to fight fire with fire.

Though it was painful, she kept her calm and mind focus. She wanted to protect people, not hurt them. She was willing to fight to make sure no one got hurt. Instead of driving her into a berserker rage like the others, she managed to control the virus in her and changed into her renamon form. Granted the power and strength of her new form, she quickly moved to stop the two rampaging monsters. She found after defeating both she was able to purge the virus from them and absorb it to strengthen herself, returning both the bully and his victim back to normal. After she was done, she slipped away to get back home as the authorities arrived.

At home, she was able to revert back to old self. With control over which body she could be in, she decided she would continue to use this new power to help and to have adventures like she dreamed about. Since then she's been stopping the virus whenever it infects someone new, trying to find out who created it and if being unleashed was accidental or on purpose.
