Broken rib, bruises, and some other complications. The car was totaled. :/ Black ice on the Pennsylvania Turnpike when I wasn't expecting it.

Actually I think it was above freezing that day, but the road was colder than the air.

the ground could be colder than the air [can also be warmer]....

it's just....this time of year, should just make the assumption that it is ice...or slick.

roads are also slick in the middle of summer [when it first starts raining].
