Ah, finaly I've gotten around to working on something. =w= Presenting Amalie the Sylveon! I guess you could say she's been complete for a while now, although I didn't spend any time finishing up details on her until earlier today when I did a quick run through Gimp to make a few changes and enhance the color--something my scanner seems ill-capable of doing properly. I also apologize if my scans are coming out drastically different lately. The switch to a laptop has made viewing my images look a bit washed out, so I've had to bump up the color. Anyway, on to details about Amalie.

Amalie is the younger sister to Samantha Farve, fellow Sylveon OC belonging to  luigi-vaporeon. Both gals are from Denmark, and are fairly close as siblings. Samantha moved to the United States several years ago to open up a business selling apparel and other things that all associate themselves with the color pink. Although not a fan of the color pink as her sister is, Amalie did miss her sister, as well as a close friend of hers, named Katherine "Karen, a Jolteon from Switzerland, both of whom moved to the USA several years earlier, leaving Amalie alone in her native country. However, all that changed one day when she received an invitation from her sister to come and live with her! At first, Amalie wasn't sure what she wanted to do... Moving to another country seemed scary, and a bit reckless, since she didn't even know what she would do once she arrived there. Fortunately, things worked out for her. After months of preparation, Amalie moved to the USA and came to stay with her sister. Only then did her adventures truly begin!

Amalie is an interesting Sylveon who bears "blush marks" around her face, something I decided to embue her with based on real life friends with fair skin complexions. She's also extremely near-sighted, and needs to wear her glasses. HOWEVER... It is VERY unlikely you'll ever see her wear her glasses, primarily due to the fact that--well... She hates them. xD; And she doesn't want to wear contacts because they irritate her eyes. She also does not like her ribbons, because she feels they get in her way. To work around this, the ribbons below her ear she ties around her ear. The ribbons above her chest she "ties" behind her back to avoid having them get in her way.

Amalie has a TERRIBLE sense of luck. Every attempt she has to make good conversation with others turns awry, and this ends up making it difficult for her to make friends. So far, her sister and her friend Katherine ("Karen the Jolteon") have been her closest companions after setting foot on dry land. She is also very clumsy, and is unable to see far distances. She's fairly smart, has a thorough understanding and pronunciation of the English language, and tends to be fairly reserved. She's more of a listener than a speaker, but she isn't afraid to put in her two cents either. xD She works at PenMa's with her friend Karen as a waitress, and together the two work hard for that Raichu we've all come to love named Penny ;) And of course, the co-owner of the shop, Maggie the Shiny Flareon.
