I am curious about this jenner plague thing?

In the setting of Sasha Gothica and co. the Jenner Plague was a retro-virus originally designed to genetically re-engineer the DNA mammals into creating jenners (also called GELFs aka genetically engineered life forms) that is, humanoids. Who designed is unknown nor is it known how it accidently escaped. What is known that a strain muted into an air born pathogen and while it was designed to ignore primates, humans could be carriers. The disease was largely contained to North America (with a few small outbreaks in Japan and England) and quickly died out but not before decimating the N.A. mammal population.

A small percentage of infected mammals (generally new-born and very young and growing) survived and became GELFs, most being raised in foster homes and special centers set up to educate and integrate this new population. In most cases with mixed results (which is why Grace was so bitchy initially with BD in "Let Them Eat Cake"--she did NOT have an easy time with human kids in her neighborhood). Both Sasha and Penny grew up in half-way foster houses with other jenners. In other cases they were raised as the children of families they had been pets in. For example, Debra's biological mother had been a jenny on a horse ranch and she'd been raised by the owners as a adopted daughter and Henrietta was a young puppy given to a young boy for his fourth birthday and grew up as his foster-sister (an upcoming story deals with Henrietta and George along with Allison (last seen with Siam in "Blind Date Blues") with her foster-sister Sherry (a welsh-setter)).

There are a number of rumors by the beginning the story timeline that there are Generation Zero jenners (that is, GELFs that predate the plague) and a future Nanny and Grace story will touch upon it. And, yes, the rumor IS true. Mirriel and her ex-husband are both Gen Zero jenners.

While not entirely "canon" I have suggested that the stories are set in a possible future of the Dela comic. It has been hinted at that Jaque Smith (the freckled and be-speckled eurasian gal who hangs out with Sasha) has a half-sister who happens to be a mouse. What is official is that "Smith" is her ex-husband's last name.

Think about it and the horrible pun her maiden name would be...

Sounds somewhat like the MORPH's universe, but in reverse.

As for myself hon.. I'd LOVE to see such a pic.. since it'd probably be pretty wonderfully fun and enjoyable! so please consider this a vote for *YES* "Siam spinning the stacks!"

Actually, Brave New World is an anthology of adult comics in the same vein as Phil Foglio's XXXenophile the stories are written as "stand alone" but admittedly most of the stories have a core set of settings and crew and some stories make reference to another that happened previously.

The biggest of the settings, in terms of stories and character continuity being the Adamoria Gals (Lucy, Giddy Goblin, Gretchen, Moria, Lilac, etc.) followed by Sasha and company (including Debra, Cherise, Jaque, Penny, Barb, and the Lesbian Goat Girls). The third major setting, Ada, has been generally one off stories (apart from the Rosie and Long-Mai comics which are PG-14).

Adult... darn it, and the story looked interesting.
