Welp, finally got around to writing out details for this wonderful lady. She's come a long way in the 3 or so years I've had her and has even gotten to be an interesting part in Neko's Luceirian universe. Check out all her awesome below :3

Personality: Vanilla is a softly spoken person who rarely feels the need to raise her voice to make her point heard. She has a deep empathy for those in need and cannot let someone’s cry for help go unanswered. Thus she quite often puts the needs of others before her own feeling that no weight it too heavy to carry if it lightens to load of someone suffering.

She is a very friendly and an expert conversationalist and will often use her way with words to defuse potentially volatile situations. Calm and calculated in almost everything she does Vanilla is a hard one to read and that is how she likes it.

Bio: Vanilla, like many, is an orphan of the purge, a movement by the cites major corporations and government to eliminate the presence of The Resistance from the city. When the two factions crossed paths there were to be civilian casualties and tragically Vanilla’s parents were to be included in those casualties. The loss of her family was a pain that she would not fully recover from.

Vanilla ending up in a city orphanage, an experience she hated. She felt trapped and the others there wouldn’t interact with her, her ice cold body temperature and the icy paw prints she would leave behind her as she walked freaked them out and she was left an outcast. It was years later when Vanilla was hitting her teenage years that the newly reformed Resistance came looking for her.

She was identified as a ‘gifted’ and put under their protection. She was the first of the gifted that they found and at first she found it to be a lonely existence. Later on she was the one who would be there for any of the newly gifted that were discovered. She had been there before and was able to provide them with a form of comfort and of not being alone in their strange powers.

In the years that followed her sorrow over the events that cost the lives of her parents was gradually was replaced with angry and a lust for vengeance upon learning to truths behind the corporations. Despite
her wards recommendation to reject young Vanilla’s application for in the field work, her persistence prevailed and she was assigned to one of the first teams to go active since the purge. She would later go on to lead her own team before eventually choosing to retire for personal reasons, choosing to go complete inactive. When offered relocating she refused, instead choosing to remain in the city.

She set up her own small business, an ice cream shop that took her name sake. Discovering a passion for frozen good and the interactions she got to have with customers made her feel at ease after the hectic life she had before. Despite her choice to leave The Resistance she still insists on keeping up to date with their movements and has put many measures in place to allow her store to be a safe haven for Resistance members who are in trouble

She has also become somewhat of a confidant for many of her patrons, lending her ear to their woes and troubles over ice cream sundaes and providing them with advice. Helping people is what gets her through the day and if she can do that by filling their bellies with ice cream or filling their heart with hope then it has been a good day.

Gift: Cryokinesis (manipulation and manifestation of ice). Her touch can freeze objects over a drawn out period of time. With her abilities to actually physically manifest ice she is currently registered as one of the most powerful gifted to have been discovered.

Vanilla’s gift is passive in nature and difficult for her to control, this means that it is something that is always on and she has no way of preventing it’s affects. He body temperature is always very low and especially noticeable on her hands and foot paws where there is little to no fur. As a result she avoids touching others and wears gloves/socks to prevent her gift from being noticeable.

She values these powers as much a curse as she does a gift. She blames them for the loss of her family almost as much as she blames the corporations and harbours a resentment towards them for their effect on her day to day life, not to mention the effect they have on her build upon relationships.
