Well, the bandwagon is a fun place to be. This painting kinda sucks, but I wanted to do something different. I did. And failed. Back to me old coloring style.

It didnt turn out the way I wanted, and I got frustrated with it. I guess it's not failing in the strictest sense, but I .. failed to meet my own expectations for the image.

Come on now, dude. You have 4 people who love this pic! DX You wanna know why I like this pic? It looks like they're in a tent of some sort with part of the tarp opening to the sun. It's perfect. Was there something you were trying to accomplish with the coloring? *steamed*
Perhaps if you explained what you were going for, we could understand your frustration better. As it stands, though, it looks like a perfectly lovely piece to me and I hope you do revisit this coloring style occasionally. The subtitle adds a wonderful "frozen moment" feel to it, and I love the light gleaming off the blade, it's almost like a poem.
