Olympiads - Character Lighting Test 4
More lighting stuff. Do you guys think these colors look alright? It's so hard doing outdoor lighting that both sets a sense of atmosphere but still looks believable. I mean I want it to have a cartoony-painterly feel, but I don't know if I'm getting it right with this one.

I feel the lighting on the fur blends in more with the style than whatever colour and/or skin you have going on the skin. It's just way too shiny, imo. Especially if it's just secondary lighting create the shine on the front of his body, when it seems the primary light source is from behind him?
myeeeehhhhhbut that's hard... :P But no I see what you're saying, and I think it should be easy to darken those elements in after effects. It's just so hard to get the lighting to look naturally backlit, but still be able to see everything clearly. I'll try and fix what you pointed out though and see if that works. If not then I'll just lower my standards, that always helps.
