Killer picture, really cute too, the camo is great but the army in the US wears Digital camo now ^^; anyways great picture. if you have questions about US uniforms for all branches I can help with that easily.

np, some tips I have for you from my army friends (I'm Navy) is that in boot camp you'll need to hold onto your rifle at ALL TIMES if you let go off it your Drill Sergent Will take it from you and then your in deep shit! Your gonna get yelled at a lot, so get ready for that lol. Some instructors like to punish there Recruits if any single person in the group who get's a desert so you'll most likely get 'smoked' if anyone does lol. Also get ready to laugh cuz when you first get to the airport and check in there will be at lest a few people who bring condoms or some other shit like that lol. they let you mail back any cell phone, MP3 Player or shit like that back to your family to take care of, same with your old clothing lol. Follow the rules to the dot, think that anything and everything you can do wrong and get caught for will happen, Don't talk in less you are allowed to or asked a question etc. Me I made the mistake of telling my Shipmate to fix his shooting stance in are training season of the 9mm (fake versions) and when I told him to fix it he turned around and pointed the gun at me (the fake gun) but due to I was acting as a 'instructor' I never got to shoot during boot camp, and I know I can shoot with the skill of a sharpshooter. So ya be careful, and always ready to push your self to the next level. and if you want to scare people during a medial exam when waiting in line, tell the guys that they gotta check there prostate lol. it won't happen but it will scare a lot of the guys XD it's great. umm that's the main jiff of what I can tell you to help prepare you for it and not ruin any surprises that the training will bring you.

No shit! that's where i'll be for Basic! And thank you very much. I plan on pushing myself, and I'm smart, so I shouldn't have any problems. Working on my PT stuff now. I need to continue doing situps and pushups, and I need to shave 1 minute off my 2 mile time. Other than that, I'll be alright.
here's what my chief in basic said to me, "12 minute's of pain, or two more weeks of this fucking hell hole" that helped me push my self. Also when running if you have your arms moving in little circles like small ones going to the inside of your body as you run it helps keep you moving, make sure to stand up straight when ya run too. had to go for a run with my friend cuz she's having a mental block on her running that she's worried might have her fail her run time.
Just keep your eyes on the prize, never give up and think of who you are running for with each step you take, think of them cheering you on, how you can't let them down and that will help you push harder and ignore the pain, trust me I hate running but I'm cocky and prideful when it comes to stuff like that, and if I don't push my self then I get pissed at my self. Just do what you need to do to make that time. Cuz if you can make your push ups sit ups and run time and show that you can follow orders and do your best then I'm sure you'll get E-2 right out of boot camp. and that way no one can call you a E - Fuzzy XD if ya don't get it now you will later on lol.
but ya kick some ass, if your going into a intel field then I might see ya some day lol. as lady luck would have it I get to go to a Army base for my first command, think it might have something to do with the fact my dad was a Sergent in the Army lol. But ya thats whats up, if you have any more questions I am sure I can answer a few of them, and when it comes to Army boot camp questions in general I can ask my friends on base who are army for any other questions you have, some things can't be told due to it could ruin the training experience, etc.
And lastly welcome to a whole new world, you'll never be the same person again, but you'll be proud about it. The best thing is at work your shit hot (good term) And look great, then after work you can cut loose and relax. Just be careful. There's a lot of people that know no matter what we get paided twice a month. And they want that money for them self's. So when you go threw your classes in bot camp about finances etc pay attention to the scam's they warn you about.
Well I'm sure I gave you enough to read lol, I always just try to help get people pumped and prepared for when they go to boot camp the best I can. So again if you need info let me know.

Ya I know a lot of information and can easly get you any information ON the uniforms easly. one of the big one's you'll want if doing dress uniforms etc is the pin's and medal's. specialy the order they go in depending on what they got @.@ but that's easy cuz there's a online manual I can get, just gotta get the link lol. And anything I don't know I can always ask someone about it who wears it lol. But ya I always have time to help with stuff like that easly ^^
