Geneforge is set in a fantasy world ruled by a powerful magical order called the Shapers who have the ability to create life. Among their inventions was a forbidden device called an augmentation canister, a magical essence that rewrites part of the user's dna and imbues them with innate magical abilities. Repeated use of the canisters has some side effects, including a contempt for all other life, and anger management issues.

The Shapers tried to bury the secret of the canisters fearing their misuse, but they couldn't contain it completely, leading to the rise of several powerful and dangerous individuals.

Here Kujura is a shaper who's been heavily modified by the canisters, corrupted by their power, and now along with a pair of drakons he created, is about to unleash his fury on some poor soul.
