ERE knew going in that a true boneitis commission isn't just a bunch of impossible characters giving each other's genitals bedroom eyes and went the exact opposite route: sending me a plethora of easy to use reference material and plenty of wriggle room. Also: a background! The extra fee for a background is always worth it in my opinion. "Character floating in space" is like a fast forward button for the grave in my opinion.PRO TIP: Your commission will be a million percent better if you don't give me super specific poses or scenarios. Super specific commissions are just blander than bland.

I was about to make a "Better not steal Christmas" joke, but then I noticed the Guild Wars 2 tag... and yeah. I'm hitting myself over the head for not noticing before that that is definitely one of the Norn Racial armors. Location is a bit hard to pin down, but making an informed guess... I'd say small Kodan settlement in the north western territory of Fire Heart Rise. The Kodan play such a small part of the story, it's hard to recognize their architecture. They have literally two land settlements and then the rest is just ice bergs floating around in Ice Gorge Sound.
But yeah, love the detail. Also nice to know that you're one of those artist who like vague detail and direction rather than super obsessive "tell me what you want". It can go either way, and I've seen artists complain about both from their commissioners.
