Now normally I keep my sketches to myself if I plan on using them for coloring and further work, and even if I make a few for a project, I still tend not to show the rejected ones to the public, thinking that they weren't good enough anyway.

This time however.... I've crossed the line this much, that I felt it needed some public shaming.

I have a commission in the works for IanTheGecko. I sat down and tried to get things right, but all the sketches looked awful, hideous. I've counted... 49 sketches. And this doesn't even count the revisions I had to do digitally in attempts to get it right.

But this isn't the time for self-pity, I'll save that for when the picture is finished! Yeah, I'm inking the picture. GEEEE I sure wonder if anyone can guess which 3 versions were combined into it....... oh right, noone can, because one was only picked for its feet, and I didn't show these here. ah well, the sketches are small enough as it is...
