One of the characters that'll appear in my upcoming comic, I'm going to leave most of her backstory a mystery, but also mention that she goes along way back to being used in a past videogame idea.

As she was back then, Shashika is a deceitfully tiny and quiet deer (Japanese sika-deer) that is a karate-fighting and sword-wielding powerhouse. She's a very close example - but subversion of - the "She-fu" charcter:

She usually cuts all the acrobatic foney baloney and instead beats you in the most straightforwardly BRUTAL way imaginable. Most opponents are dead before they realise they were in a fight! Backflips? "Spining Bird Kick?" How about ripping your eyeballs from their sockets and force feeding them back to you?
