Thank you!! ^_^ its the first time submitting my work. Its great that someone likes it. haha.
I know the ears are so hard to get sometimes. that is what I was struggling with the most when drawing him. Yeah my friend just told me his favorite colors and then just blended them together with artistic freedom. Turned out he loved it and is now his permanent fursona.
Oh duh! i was trying to find lemurs for some reason I was looking under mammals. >_<

Totally!! :D You've got some cute work, and it'll just get better & better, the more you work!
THAT'S ALSO AN AWESOME POLICY TO HAVE (at least, in my own opinion!) It's too often that I see people take an unfamiliar animal (lemur, bat, etc.) and try to turn their features into something familiar, that they're used to/comfortable with drawing... But, if that's not what the animal is actually like, then it defeats the whole purpose!
What you did is a really cute way to stylize a Ring-Tailed Lemur's ear, I think! You've got them on the side of the head (not top, like a cat or dog), got the outward-angle and little upward curve, etc. It's simplified, yet very effective -- and, overall, a strong design element! C: I JUST LOVE IT SO MUCH, OH MY GOSH. !
And DUDE, how cool is that?? Haha! Ultimate compliments, right there! It's always cool to know you made something that had a permanent impact on someone like that! :D
(Oh, and no worries! I mean, they're still mammals, so you had that right... I think most people just expect to find an individual lemur category, haha. But, at least the primate>lemur grouping should, hypothetically, educate people on their basic anatomy! WISHFUL THINKING, BUT OH WELL...)

Yeah i tend to go with a more simplified or stylized approach. Kinda have a hard time of making things look realistic. fur is so difficult!
I hope to get better. I draw more human but i've been trying to get into the anthro style.
I was looking at a picture of a real ring-tailed lemur and noticed that the ears are more to the side and have that interesting curve to them so i incorporated it.
^_^ I'm glad you like it so much.
Lol. no i got that they are mammals too just thought for a second that primate had its own category.
