I have fallen into the trap. Meet Patch the raccoon - my new partial fursuit built by Zay, at Fox Closet, and debuted at VancouFur 2014.
The character of Patch came from my occasional roleplaying character; in that scenario he is Australian, has attitude issues, street races, and loves rugby and Aussie football.
My first weekend of playing him was mostly me following people around going "I can't see shit" and trying not to kill myself. I'll try to get the rest of his personality into my acting down the road.
