I personally enjoyed that very much. Of course, it's not too often you get to see furry characters fully animated like this, so any opportunity that comes along is a golden one.

Personal opinion aside, though, how do you feel this will be received? I know nothing of college animation courses, so I'm curious as to what the reactions of those who don't frequent this website will be.

It premiered at the college animation festival last night, and it went over fantastic! I got a lot of laughter and applause, and no one was really creeped out by "furries"

XD they were a little grossed out by the punch line, but that was the idea

Then congratulations are in order; that's fantastic news! I hope this means we get to see more animation from you in the future, furry or otherwise. Because, you know, we art whores can never get enough.

The only thing that could have been improved was the annunciation in the voice acting. I've found it's really hard to record voice clips and get them to sound the way you want unless you can kind of put yourself into the scene you're working with. I can't just sit in front of a microphone and pretend that I'm excitedly talking to somebody in an open area (especially if I'm alone), for example; that just doesn't work for me. It's tough. I imagine you were in a similar situation.

But everything else was really great. Very cute =) How much time did you spend on it in total?

yeah voices are retarded. i couldnt really afford voice actors for 3 sound bits, since i was already paying to have my sound effects and such done for me, but i think they came out okay for the situation at hand...i had 2 hours with the sound design guy the day before it was due to do my entire track XD so it was kinda in and out of the sound booth

Okay, I adore the 'rarararar' noises when you're shakin' off the snow. That was by far my favorite little part.
The animation's really smooth, too.
Only thing I might suggest is a little more UMPH to the voices, but those can be really hard to do. Voice acting can be a pain if you don't do it often.
Overall, though, very nice. How long did it take you to finish?

yeah we did the voices with my sound guy the night before it was due, and we were really pressed for time...I'd like to redo them sometime, but it probably wont happen XD;;

A thesis is usually a project or paper done before graduating to sum up all 4 (or more) years of the college experience and prove your knowledge and expertise in the subject you've been studying. I'm pretty sure they're a solo project.
