So this badge that I commissioned at TFF 2014 has an interesting story. I stopped by the artist's table in the dealer's den because I saw a picture of his red panda character and thought he looked kinda cool (specifically, this picture). After finalizing the details of my badge idea, I mentioned that I liked the panda character, and he told me it was a character he created for the Furry Basketball Association. I mentioned that I created a red panda character for the FBA a few years back as well, and when I told him who it was (Kamikani Iona), he said that he was the coach of the Spectrums, the team Kamikani played on! I found that fascinating and I promptly bought a print of his character to commemorate that. Anyways... cool story.
