I'm sure we will, eventually. My daughter and I plan to get more active in furry cons and in fursuiting. We'll end up at the same place eventually.

Looks like a good fit. And sounds like the con went very nicely for you, despite the problems with the body getting stolen!

The con had it's ups and downs.. I tried mostly to stay away from folks cause I could not predict when I bad mood would strike.. my roomies, they got the brunt of my attitude. Fortunately they love me and are understanding.. I feel so bad for coming to the con so upset.

Well this year was just... ummm... yeah. I will say that I feel bad for my roommates as it's the second con now where my roommates I had just recently met IRL had to endure watch me have a bad moment. But eh, sometimes you need to be around people when you are having a rough time!

In my case.. no.. I should not be around anyone when I have a bad time... it is really tough! I end up hurting relationships went people want to be around me in my suck times.

For example - I tried to put a paw sticker on atsuki's badge and he rejected it "I am keeping it clean"
I am like really? Whatever.. I didn't even bother responding I just turned and walked away and didn't say another dang word to him. Yeah it offended me.. or maybe I was more sensitive then normal given my situation.. but that is just a same example why I should not be around others when upset

As far as that goes, some folks don't like stuff on their badges. That's not a you or them thing. That's just personal preference. And eh, from what it sounds like, you had lots of folks that enjoyed being around you at the con in, as you put it, your suck times. And deep down you enjoyed that you had such a support system.

If you really, truly hated to be there, and felt you should not have been there, you would've been like me and left.

But you wanted/needed the support, and folks came through for you.

well I could not just leave exactly.. This is one of the cons I carpooled with someone else
