Poor girl. This is such a sad little picture. The rain and the grey, desolate landscape and, most especially, the way she's looking away with maybe just the last smidgen of hope, is just heart-breaking. You always do such a fantastic job with emotion in your art, and I'll have to admit it is interesting to see you tackle something just a bit darker this time. It's a really lovely picture, too. The lady herself is really quite lovely, and I do like that curly tail of hers. Even with such a sad picture, you've made her look really adorable. I like the grassy hill under her, too, and the way it slopes away so sharply under the swing. It's very well done, and it just adds so much to the rather bleak feel of the whole picture.
