Or the Missile Boat, to be less dramatic. Built by the Empire as a countermeasure to the TIE Defenders of the tratorious Admiral Zaarin. Armed with a staggering 80 concussion missiles, they could not only blast TIE Defenders to pieces, they could also double as heavy assault craft for attacks on capital ships and space stations.

Although its hull was only as strong as that of a basic TIE Fighter, its shields were as strong as a B-Wing's, allowing it to take a good deal of abuse in combat. Top speed matches the Alliance's A-Wing, although its SubLight Acceleration Motor (SLAM) can temporarily double that speed.

Fast, brutal and effective, they actually played only a very small part in the history of warfare. Once Admiral Zaarin was defeated, Emperor Palpatine himself ordered them removed from military service and they disappeared completely after 4 ABY.
