Going to make this a full picture someday. Anyways, yes Wedger in my story is heir to the land of Highever and the true Emperor of his homelands.
Although he does not learn this until he faces his temporary nemesis General Thornos in single combat.
Being told his father is actually Dranus who is a tyrant that controls Highever and its people with an iron fist.

Although the original intention was to make Wedger lose courage and hope. But instead this knowledge strengthened Wedger's resolve and will to put an end to the evil that corrupted his land.
Eventually succeeding at the age of 23 in human years, he was crowned emperor and to this day, rules highever with a peaceful, gentle palm. And sees to the re-construction of Highever's entire Kingdom.
