This was a rather long project, with longer or shorter hiatuses and a total change of approach required.

I have never worked on a comic before, but I am a huge fan of the medium. I love a good story, and when it is told both with words and sequences of pictures, it's even better!
I was totally excited, when asked if I would be willing to make a transformation comic about grown up Rika and what happened to her.

We talked the details over, what should happen, what should I focus on, and I started working on the sketches. Setting the panels, designing how to show the short introductory story and then - the process in the most legible and appealling way - it was like exploring a totally wild and alien territory for me. Then there were corrections and alterations, and - in the end - an additional page, which required breaking and redesigning one of the existing pages to make the story work swimmingly.
It was a challenging experience, but I learned a lot (again...).

And at the end - I got to work with lines again, which was a well deserved relax after the brainstorms of designing.
