I've been enjoying the little interludes between 'Daniel-Nii' and Nicky. Its so adorable to see their interactions. Its also interesting to see Nicky learn things as he goes. I've read some of your other comics too. I've liked all of them so far. Keep up the good work. :3
It's every artist's right to be unhappy or unduly overcritical with their own works. While I'm sure we could reassure you of how much we're enjoying this, you will always have that recurring, niggling feeling that "it's not quite done" or "it's not quite right, somehow". It's the cruel fate of people who get involved in art, you end up pushing yourself in little ways in an effort to excel or to grow, and it's so easy to become almost neurotic with self-expectation. Part of it is from the want to grow, part of it is from the want to please, part of it is from the insatiable need to closer depict the mental images you conjure up.
As long as you have fun with the process, and as long as you can temper the nagging dissatisfaction, it's all good! If you let it linger too much, you can burn out and start to lose enjoyment, yet if you disregard it too much, you can find yourself stagnating a little. Perhaps this page in particular may have irked you due to a lack of background elements, or because it's a page setting up for the next little moment of interest? Perhaps there's a specific little thing that is bothering you, that once you identify, will be easier to squash?
Either way, I still enjoy this comic, and it remains a part of my nightly routine after work to check if another page has appeared.
