Holy symbol of Tyche, goddess of Luck and Adventure
Tyche:
The goddess of gamblers, thieves, treasure hunters, and, of course, adventurers, is widely worshipped, especially through the transfer of currency, namely, the golden aster. Her churches exist in secret, down dark alleys, in the backrooms of taverns and in the secret guilds of thieves, and they’re always taking donations. Only one place worships her truly in public and that’s the den of vice known as Tychestria. As one might expect, in a city like Agdolon, open praise of Tyche is often met with disdain, but people will still kiss a coin before making a risky venture without realizing to who they’re giving praise.
Tyche takes a similar view of love as Charlemagne (or more accurately, vice versa), but doesn't discount love as an impetus for romantic interlude. That being said, Tyche's adherents more than anyone else (aside from perhaps the god of love Yorcegh) have esoteric notions in this manner. Just as long as you get something out of it, preferably shiny.
These are Tyche's suggestions to living:
Seek out change and do not fear the unknown.
Promote freedom wherever you go and lash out when the powerful would seek to enslave the weak.
Luck is all a matter of chance and risk. Harness your fate and know Tyche’s blessings are upon you.
Greed is often the motivator for seeking Tyche’s blessing, but too often greed can find one on the opposite side of her second tenet. If you follow Tyche in all things, beware of another more pious robbing you of everything you have--maybe even your life.
“Avarice” is a goblin goddess that inspires many of the campaigns against the common races to rob them of their belongings and fill the goblin coffers to bursting.
