Bomb, nail:
Nail bombs are improvised weapons, usually mason jars or milk bottles filled with black powder and nails with a lid, cork or cap and a fuse sticking from the top meant to be thrown into an small space. The smaller space, the more damage it deals. Since it has a radius of 10ft, it can deal damage to 12 squares, so a damage potential of 12d8. (Beyond, the velocity is reduced enough to be unable to puncture armor and dealing only superficial damage to flesh) If, for example, a nail bomb were thrown into an outhouse or a 5ft closet and the door closed, it would deal 12d8 to the poor sap inside. Because it is an improvised weapon, a roll of 3 causes an automatic failure to detonate. Nail bombs deal piercing damage. Most nail bombs are fixed to a short handle, making them easier to throw, given them an extended range of 5ft beyond the user’s throw distance.
Nail bombs are sold under the counter by SDO, however, these weapons are illegal in most jurisdictions.
