In 1947, Japan merged the holidays Girls' Day (Mar. 3), and Boys' Day (May 5) into one Holiday: Childrens' Day. Hawaii is the only place that celebrates the two days seperately. Everyone else celebrates "Cinco De Mayo" with tequila and Corona. We celebrate by putting up fish flags. (And getting drunk. Any excuse for a party!)
