Whoops, hold the phone! I just realized what this reminds me of: legendary Disney animator/designer Marc Davis (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marc_Davis)! This looks like sketches I've seen from his design work for Bambi. He was a whiz with kyoote fluffy things, y'know. As is our girl Sachi.
