I think this critters are super-huggable!

Out of curiousity, is this -your- bat, as a pet? If so, are they good pets? Do they have the same style of love instinct you see in dogs and cats? I can't get one even if it was possible, but I'd be curious to know.

bats, despite being social and friendly (some species that is) are not good pets.
as adorable as they are, the risk of rabies they hold as carriers would leave an owner constantly in need of rabies vaccinations to be safe.
(literal rule with bats as precaution for handlers is even a small abrasion or tear is a risk. kinda sucks the cutest critters have such high safety precaution needs :o )
