I've wanted to get a pic like this for a long time. I've always liked the idea of a big plushie bear taking care of me. It's almost like a fantasy dream pic...it's like my little cub character has a big plushie that he loves and he dreams of how nice it would be to have the big plushie be alive and take care of him.


So, after talking with  LukieBear , he said he'd be up for having his character be turned into a big plushie to take care of me in a pic.


So I decided to ask  Kalida to draw a pic of it, and here's the result. I love it!



There's just something really nice about the idea of a big plushie taking care of you. So soft, so comfy, so loving. It's kind of like the movie Ted.


So yay. As always, I've very happy with my pic from Kalida, and I'm very glad Lukie is here to take care of me in plushie version!

Edit: So from the encouragement of Lukie, I'm gonna write a little silly story to go with this one.



So once again Tony and Michelle need to get away from an evening and they need to find a babysitter for little Digitz. Thankfully for Digitz, Auntie Mabel can't do it because she has her knitting club this evening, but luckily for Tony and Michelle, they're able to find a responsible teenage polar bear named Lukie!



Digitz immediately likes Lukie since he's a fellow bear (and Digitz has never had another bear take care of him before), but when Digitz first sees Lukie, he can't help but wonder "How did that big bear get cub powder all over him?" Seeing the confused look on Digitz's face, Lukie explains that he's a polar bear and why he has white fur.



Lukie is a very good babysitter and the two of them have a fun time, but as they're playing in Digitz's room, Digitz looks over at his big huge blue plushie bear and lets out a little sigh.

"What's wrong little bear?" asks Lukie.

"Well....sometimes I kind of wish my teddy was alive and could play with me and take care of me."


Lukie smiles. "Well, I can't make your teddy take care of you. But, I can do something that's almost as good."

Digitz looks quizzically at Lukie and says "Huh?"

Lukie just smiles and he tells Digitz to close his eyes. "No peeking!" he warns.


Digitz closes his eyes for about thirty seconds, and then Lukie says "Ok, you can look now!"


Digitz opens his eyes, and to his great surprise, he seems a giant plushie polar bear!

"Hey, how'd you do that?" asks Digitz as he looks in wonder.


"Trade secret," says Lukie. "But now I can be your big polar plushie bear!"


"Yay!" says Digitz as he runs and glomps Lukie, knocking him over but landing on Lukie's big plump plush stomach.


The two playfully wrestle on the ground and end with a big cuddly hug. But then Digitz starts to feel hungry, and Luke immediately realizes it. So he makes his way off to get Digitz's bottle.


As he comes back, they realize that they don't even need a chair because Digitz can rest on Lukie's big plump belly. Digitz happily drinks his bottle on Lukie's lap, and afterwards feels so worn out that he peacefully falls asleep on the big comfy Lukie tummy.


Lukie just smiles as he picks Digitz up and tucks him into his crib. He knows his secret will be safe because he'll be back in his regular polar bear form when Tony and Michelle return, and he'll simply tell them that he and Digitz played a game where they pretended Lukie was a big stuffed polar bear. That way they won't be surprised when Digitz tells them the wondrous story.
