Merv is not looking a tad agressive today. It seems I found something tasty to pounce on and now it's lunchtime for this gryphon!
I just did this with a quill pen at work. I haven't used a quill pen in a while. This one was acrylic ink. Life lesson, do not use acrylic ink in a desert. It dries so fast... I had trouble with clogging the nib. I've gone to using regular india ink and it works so much better here.

Hey. Nice pic. The only thing i can think of is that is seems like there is so much detail that it distracts from the eye and you don't know where to focus. But that is probably something that the scanner caused. I'm sure in real life it's much easier to see. Other then that though it's really nice.
