This is a sneak peak at the next Rudek and the Bear cartoon. I was very pleased with how the sepia ink background turned out, despite having a lot of difficulty handling a traditional medium I don't have a lot of experience with.
What we're seeing here may be a memory of Masha's...how during the communist revolution, her family was labelled "kulak," and her farm was raided and destroyed during a pogrom. But is this how it really happened...?
