Throwback Thursday!!!!!

Anyone remember this Iconic Boss?

This is Tap-Tap The Red Nose, he is the boss in world 6-4 of the SNES Platformer known as Yoshi's Island.

To defeat him, All you have to do is use eggs to destroy the Red, Yellow and Green blocks so he can fall in the lava. This Boss battle is reminiscent of the Bowser Battle in Super Mario Bros. 3.

Simple things are what make these memories come to life and no greater memory I can think of is the colored blocks. I remember in World 4-8 before entering the Red door to fight Hookbill The Koopa, there was an assortment of Red, Yellow and Green Blocks you must destroy to access the Red door, just the feeling of watching and hearing the eggs bounce off the blocks back and forth made me feel like I hit the jackpot at a pinball game.

What better way to relive those memories by illustrating a picture to symbolize some good old video game nostalgia.
