I like a lot of your work, but hands down this is one of my favorites from you. You do a lot a great poses and fun character placements but you rarely do backgrounds. This is a fine example of what you are capable of and it really sets the mood. I would love to start seeing more backgrounds from you even if they are simple ones.
After looking through your gallery I have to say this is my favourite piece - the shading is very subtle enough to go well with the natural light probided by the stars and such, without everything being too dark, but not harsh enough to make it look out of place. That, and that cute little tongue, too adorable.
Also, if I might ask (Apologies in advance if this is personal)... didn't Gawain belong to (Or at least represented) someone else? Maybe I'm mistaken, but I could've sworn that long while back, someone else was attributed to him/mentioned in these drawings.. Then the descriptions were updated. Maybe my mind's just messing with me but i was just wondering x)
